I completely agree.
I don't want to read a fake story with ponies and rainbows that leads to a bid with the "best chapter" on campus. Why even waste time making something like that up? But sometimes, even when everyone knows a story is fake, but it's filled with such nonsense and all kinds of crazy, to the point where it's actually entertaining and you don't really care that it's fiction because the person really is that insane, you kind of want to see where they go with it and how outlandish it can really get.
I liken it to watching the Real World. It claims it's real, you know that half of it isn't, but sometimes, you can't help but watch the ridiculous people on it fail at life.
