There is a 34 year old brother in our chapter and it's perfectly acceptable. There are some problems for him only because of a large age difference between our youngest members and our oldest members, but those are to be expected. There is much less of a gap between 25 and 18 or 19 than 34. We have other brothers who are in their mid to late 20s and it isn't a problem at all.

A personal choice to make, like most.
