The commentators were saying that they were the best franchise because they had six super bowl wins, specifically. I think it was along the lines of "now that they won this game they're the best sport franchise in America."
And I just don't buy that. Don't get me wrong we love the Steelers, but six super bowls does not a #1 sports team make. It's not all about championships, and comparing football with any other sport is like comparing apples to kumquats.
