Nittanyalum, I think it's great that you were thoughtful enough to post this for your friend.
I think people often don't become organ/tissue donors, bone marrow donors, etc. because they don't know what is involved or simply because they don't consider/think of doing it unless their lives are directly affected by a friend or family member's illness. Thanks for the reminder.
