I would suggest anyone using this method follow up with a call to your local Board of Elections. I've heard several people call in and say they've had "issues." Don't know if issues were on the Joyner side, or possible "trickeration" at the Board of Election.
Whatever method you choose, verify it before the Oct. 6 registration deadline.

I work with the organization that runs the 866-myvote1 line (Joyner just promos he doesn't really have all that much to do with the rest of it) and I can definitely say that a lot of it is on the B of E's end. They "never got the information" or "cant find it" or "You're not registered" (even when you are). Every person who registers via our 1866 number should definitely follow up with BofE if they have not recieved their registration card. You really should do it if you are in the south. Thats where we've been having the most problems. Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Florida....anywhere below the mason dixon line basically.
PEOPLE PLEASE,
Participate in EARLY VOTING! It will save you time and hassel. If you are in a state like GA that doesnt require that you give a reason to vote absentee you should consider doing that.
