A few years ago I was watching a very old rerun of Happy Days where Joanie is 'trying her wings' by dressing a bit provocatively. Things are getting a bit out of hand when the Fonz steps in and runs off the offensive creeps. He then tells her that while it is her right to dress the way she wants to she has to understand that if you send out advertisement you cannot be upset if someone answers the ad.
My sister, who is very strongly into taking responsibility for yourself in all matters commented that, yeah, she can dress which ever way she wants but she has to remember that "tacky is as tacky does".
My Dad told us that way back in the day a very attractive woman was often described as "tough" or "tough as a 50 cent steak" He and Mom were walking down the street and saw a georgeous but really provocatively dressed woman. Dad said wow, she is tough. Mom replied, Cheap meat usually is.

My thoughts on the matter are that if a woman dresses to be looked at it seems almost bad manners not to look.
My sisters comment was that if a woman cant attract a man by being attractive rather than provocative then she better turn in her membership card to the Femme Fatale club. (She is the one who thinks that 'tacky' should be a capital offense).
