At our last ccocktail party I noticed quite a mix. Some ladies wore hose, others didn't. It seems almost contradictory to be in formal attire with escort in a tux and the lady NOT wearing hose.
I must admit, I'm guilty of this. One of my friends got married last year and I went to the wedding hoseless. But in my defense, it was an outdoor wedding on a 100 degree day and I was wearing open toed shoes.
