I mainly buy things on sale soooooo...
Bread: $1 - $1.25 (Kroger brand)
Skim milk 1/2 gallon: $1.50 (usually 2/$3.00 at Kroger on sale.. used to always be 10/$10)
dozen lg eggs: $1.79 last time I bought them
Yogurt: about $.50 each
I buy the chicken breasts when they are buy 1, get 1 free and do other things like that. You can save a lot if you shop the sales and buy in bulk when things are on sale. Also, I tend to buy one bulk meat each time.. so I buy a big amount of ground beef one shopping trip, chicken the next, pork chops/steaks or roasts the next, depending on the sales at the time. Kroger also tends to have the same things on sale over and over, so I've gotten to know their standard sales.
