Honestly, I guess it's just because of where I'm from. But I'd much rather see that you like to dress like a harlot, or have a tongue piercing, "bad" style, or a tattoo before. (Come through recruitment as you are honey! Let's do this!) Because at the end of the day if you aren't a good match because of it then what are we gonna do about it after the fact? (Not that my chapter has ever had problems with most of these issues). But, it would suck for everyone. There is a famous rap lyric that basically states "you can't turn a (expletive) into a housewife". (It's extreme but I the basic point is people just want to be themselves and be comfortable with themselves at the end of the day. No one wants to have to change and no one really wants to try to make someone change). If you don't fit into the group, let's figure it out before hand it's better that way for all of us.
