I just want to say first and foremost I love Delta Sigma Theta as an organization. I am a former GEM and before I became a GEM I was on the path of being kicked out of school and my house. My advisor's and mentors helped me become the confident, classy, and goal oriented person that I am and if it had not been for the program I would not have made it to college.
In my chapter we had line numbers, names and a sign we would throw up for pictures with the omega prep boys. Do undergrad chapters frown upon that?
I just finished my first year of college and I was scared to even speak to the DELTAS on my campus through fear of seeming like a Delta groupie. Do you think it is a good idea for them to know you were a delta gem or are you better off keeping it to yourself?
