lots of those exercises are going to do more to bulk up the glutes than trim down...for that it's got to be overall weight loss, since you can't really just lose weight in one target area! But my favorite exercise for toning the bum and thigs are to lay on your back against a wall with your legs up at a 90 degree angle and proceed to lift pelvis. It sounds so odd, I know! But it works well for the bum and thigh-burning sensation that we're goin for.
