We handled everything from rush violations to alcohol violations involving Greeks. Any Greek organization had the right to go to either UGGB or to the regular campus judicial board. Most chose UGGB because it is more peer-based. We have a lot of leniency in what we can assign, everything from community service to fines to social probation and beyond, but every punishment must be approved by the dean of students and the GLD.
UGGB was good times, and 99% of the time, the cases were easy peasey, handled quickly and without problems. BUT! That 1% was full of 5 hour cases and back and forth debates, and the dean of students overriding our decision and just badness.

Did the GLOs on your campus have the option not to participate (that is, not to send a representative)
