As a "light skinned brother" I have to say, that I never felt out of style, never really had a problem getting womens' attention, nor did I ever feel that I was being surpassed by my "dark skinned" counterparts.

I really think that this whole conversation is extremely ridiculous. And the fact that this discussion has even survived this long sickens me. It's fine that Hollywood has just recognized that there is more to our race than just the fair skinned men and women, but for our own women to perpetuate this debate is disheartening to say the least. You all are showing the true depth (or lack therof) of your thinking!

(I hope I fulfiled your expectations of light skinned men being conceited)
