Hmmmm.. I kinda agree with you, but I've dated guys who I even call by their last name (generally someone I was introduced to like that, was friends with for awhile, then began to date) and I know some of my sisters have boyfriends they call by last names/nicknames, too. I'd feel weird having sex and calling a guy John or something if I NEVER referred to him as that before.
