Regarding DST Membership Related Threads
For a while now, I've been feeling some type of way about Greekchat and have noticed that it has began to penetrate the Delta Sigma Theta forum. But Friday night when I logged on to a computer for a few minutes and saw the thread started by a 13 year old young lady wanting to know about Delta camps or programs to help her as a teen, I was horrified to see the responses she received.
The thread wanted responses from members of Delta Sigma Theta. No other member of any other organization needed to respond, no matter if you knew the correct answer or not. That must cease.
I know it can be fun to ride a newbie. I know I've done it a time or two in the past. But enough is enough. We can't keep doing this to people in this forum.
From now on, if a question related to membership whether it is from a 10, 20, 40, 60, 80 year old is asked, IGNORE IT. Don't respond. Don't say a mumbling word. A moderator will handle it.
We can't keep doing this to people in this fourm, especially not to adolescents.
