They've made it a coffee theme, like "fill the cup" and of course a chance to win a Starbucks giftcard. The website blurb actually started out with something like, "Instead of spending it on coffee, donate $5 and get a caffeine-free start to your day."
Umm, no, thanks. I would end up throwing a book at a kid instead of donating it to him if I had to go without caffeine. I'll make a donation AND drink my coffee, thanks.
Maybe if we're uncaffeinated, they think we'll hit the "Donate $500" button instead of "$5".
Still, very good program as part of our Fraternity Service Day.
