How sad to hear.

But, that is why it is called an accident isn't it?

Small things at the time seem small unless the get blown up by a fire or what ever else, where property was lost, but at least no lives were lost.

Actually, if one could find the over all fire stats, there would be more individual home fires that happen by many reasons.

I know, I have been there with a fire on the stove from cooking.
