While I make a bit of fun of the media, it is a hell of a thing to go virtually into a battle zone with a camera only.
Ernie Pyle was one of the best known in WW II.
Agree, if push comes to shove, you bet I would grab a weapon to protect myself and other people. Today, it can be seen that there is not respect for news media as they are kiddnaped, tortured, and killed.
Give kudos due when and where desearved!!!!
