I go to the bar alone all of the time (usually after work on my way home), but then again it is the bar I used to work at -- so I know all the bartenders and servers, and there's always a set of regulars there, so it's not as if I'd be drinking alone.
Yeah, that would be a different story - I wouldn't mind showing up alone, as long as I knew people who would be there.
