Exactly. I've done the same thing as 33Girl more times than I care to think about.
What never ceases to amaze me is the sheer number of people who are completely incapable of saying,
"I'm sorry," or
"I was wrong." I'm not talking just about Kerry, but he's definitely the poster child of the day for this phenomenon. This is definitely one of those times when an "I'm sorry, I was wrong," is needed, and not "I'm sorry,
but...".
