Unfortunately, I think a lot of young males think like this throughout adolescence. Hopefully, they will grow out of this type of "group thought" as they mature. I've seen it happen numerous times: pretty dark-skinned girls get no play in high school and then, wham! College is a entirely different story--especially if they are confident and haven't let other folks' issues with color brow-beat them. And then there are always men of other races. If a significant majority of black men are only attracted to light-skinned women, then why not start looking in "other" directions?
