Hi! I'm a Pi Phi and we have loads of chapters, mostly at the big universities where we do really really well! Most of our small-college chapters are older ones and we have lots of massive chapters out there.

A song of ours I like begins:"If you can wear and love the Pi Phi arrow, and not forget there are kites and keys...." I love that line! It came home to me last fall...

Of course, I wanted all 9 daughters to be Pi Phis but the oldest got a full academic scholarship to a university with no Pi Phis. During the summer, it hit me with full force that she wouldn't be a Pi Phi and I grieved for months even though I had been a Panhel advisor, had scads of friends in other sororities, and knew good and well that other sororities are great. But--dreams die hard.

She went through rush and got AOPi, her first choice all week, and is happy as can be. As a freshman, she was just elected rituals chairman and will be moving into the house. I'm learning to appreciate red roses and pandas and I'm truly proud of her and her affiliation! I just had a lesson to learn about not forgetting there are kites and keys....
