I don't have cable so my TV never gets turned on, except for the rare times when I might want to watch a DVD. My boyfriend has TiVo, though, so we always record and watch "Desperate Housewives," "Nip/Tuck," "Miami Ink," and "The O.C." We also play Jeopardy every night. However, I never realized how short these shows actually are until he got TiVo and we could fast-forward through the commercials...they're really not long at all! I don't really know how much that'd equal to, though.
