How many hours of tv do you watch a week? Curious as to everyone's estimates. When you think about it, it's probably a lot more than you realize. Reading some of the threads on here, I don't know how it's physically possible for some people to watch the amount of tv that they do, lol. |

 About 1-2 hours average. |

I keep CNN or Foxnews on during the day while I work. And, at night we watch about 3 hours. So, I'd say about 11 hours a day. (But, this is not active watching. It is just having it on as background noise. I can't groom and actually watch anything.) Per week, I'd estimate around 60 hours of having the tv ON and around 20 hours of actually paying attention. |

As far as the ones on HBO, cable, etc. Well, that's what TiVo's for, and I watch those every free minute I have. |

I don't have cable so my TV never gets turned on, except for the rare times when I might want to watch a DVD. My boyfriend has TiVo, though, so we always record and watch "Desperate Housewives," "Nip/Tuck," "Miami Ink," and "The O.C." We also play Jeopardy every night. :p However, I never realized how short these shows actually are until he got TiVo and we could fast-forward through the commercials...they're really not long at all! I don't really know how much that'd equal to, though. |
