As long as it doesn't affect your job or your real social life - i.e. you can't go on a date without talking about it - it's harmless. Everyone needs an outlet of some sort.

No that's what I meant. Dressing up for a Jimmy Buffet concert or whatever is just plain fun. But when it becomes YOUR LIFE, that's where I see a problem.

Or when you annoy the crap out of everyone in every class you have. There was this girl in my college, in my same program, who was obsessed with Disney. Like everytime she'd contribute to a conversation, she'd bring up Disney. Everyone knew her and everyone knew she "The Disney Girl". I couldn't help but crack up in the middle of class when I saw her doodling Mickey Mouse and the whole page was full of Disney stuff.
