I think it's really stupid and immature. I read the spoiler due to an icon in some LJ community before I'd read that part of the book, and I'm not going to be pissed off about it because HI IT'S JUST A BOOK, but on the same time, I don't get what the point of caring that much about ruining other people's fun is just because you don't like it because HI IT'S JUST A BOOK.
Harry Potter is probably one of the best things that has happened to kids in the past ten years -- I don't mean to be a future English teacher, but it has basically exponentially multiplied the number of kids that otherwise would be reading -- and it bothers me that so many people are not only so down on it, but are actively trying to ruin that. I don't have any problem with people with people who have no interest in reading the book, but why do you have to screw it up for other people who are enjoying it? That just seems tacky and junior high to me.
Oh, and I'm finished now so you hussies can't ruin anything for me.
