de-pledging

Hi, I'm currently in the plege period as a Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of Iowa. We are about ready to iniciate. I'm thinking about transfering schools at semester, and there is not Kappa chapter where I'm looking. If I iniciate with Kappa here, would I be able to join a sorority where I transfered?? Should I not iniciate until I'm sure I want to stay here??
