I was reading a fascinating piece about Bonds and his going for the record. Much of it, of course, was devoted to his personality. In fact, one guy point-blank said that "people have a hard time with African-American athletes with a personality that's not particularly inviting."
Personally, I hope he gets it. It reminds me of Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and being on the moon. History will remember Bonds and McG.
