In a Sci Fi Horror Anthology I have called "The Book of Philip Jose Farmer" C 1982 obviously a collection of PJF short stories, there is an HP Lovecraft-esque short story he wrote called "The Freshman" C 1979. In this story there are students a college for the mystic arts, and yep there are fraternities in it one called "Lam Kha Alif" as well as "House of Hastur".
Have you ever heard of the bit of minutae and what kind of light can you shed on it.
