Cops seem to think that all persons under the age of 25 are either drunk or stoned...all the time. That's the first question they ask you when they pull you over, no matter what the reason was that they pulled you over in the first place--"You been drinking?" "You high?" It ticks me off, too, to be honest. Once a cop pulled me over for not having my headlights all the way on (hey, the street was so well-lit I couldn't tell!) and became totally convinced that I
had to be drunk because I happened to be wearing a cocktail dress. He gave me the 3rd degree, hoping to trip me up asking all these questions about where my parents lived, where I lived, what I'd been doing that night, why I had a Vera Bradley overnight bag in my truck, why I was out on the road, where I was going, etc., and then became frustrated when my "drunk" self, who was completely sober, answered everything correctly. Since he couldn't get me for a DUI, he wrote me a ticket instead. Jerk.
I'm gonna ask my cop friends why they treat cute girls like that.
