This is really sad.
I don't know how ANYONE could hurt a helpless animal. I am not a huge cat person but I would never hurt a cat. In college we had to do a project in our mammology class where we trapped and removed farrel cats from the local park. It had become over loaded with cats because students would just drop them off at the end of the school year. My partner and I caught a kitten that proceeded to try and kill itself inside the cage. I could stand to watch it so I released it.
