Well RenaG., I could think of a hundred gifts that you could possibly get your fiance'. However, it concerns me that he (your fiance') would pitch a fit about a gift that he knows that you can't afford. I would ask him, after SERIOUSLY checking his attitude again, what would be the NEXT best thing to this particular gift. Or I would work something out with him to get the gift that he wants, such as you pay 2/3 of the price and he pays 1/3. I would also consider how WORTHY he is of this gift, such as how long I've been with him, how he treats me, his attitude about getting the gift,etc. I hope that he's not asking for something like a CAR.
