I really don't think you should take it personal. I think that since you all aren't in the same conference, they probably don't know that your sorority has gotten new pledges. Also there is a chance that the NPC doesn't know much about your sorority. The NPC at my school doesn't know much about any other sorority outside of their conference. So don't worry. Maybe if you actually become a member, you can help bridge that gap
