Sadly, your that's not true. The police report is there, it's just incomplete in regards to what all was stolen, and what was apparently damaged to the house...the thing to learn from this is that make sure if you are ever burglarized, you gotta make sure all the t's are crossed and all the I'd are dotted.
It's a shame because not only is one victimized from the original theft, but if the paperwork is incomplete then, if any of your stuff turns back up, you can become a victim all over again......
