The idea is not to be like everyone else. The idea is to give women the opportunity to try the products before committing to buying them. Havent you ever bought something without trying it on first and realize it was not a good fit after bringing it home. Well it is the objective of MaryKay to allow you to try it on and make aware decision to buy or not to buy.
If you cant get with that concept then it would be best if you continued to purchase your cosmetics over the counter, but please dont hate on those of us that appreciate being given the opportunity to have our foundation match our complexion precisely; therefore, eliminating the mask look. You know when you see a woman with the make-up line around the chin when the make-up dont quite blend with the neck and the face. Now that is a sista who could use a beauty consultant because her friends are not her friends.
