Here's how they usually go:

Caller: "Hello Mr. (Some mispronounced version of my last name), can we still count on your support for the Democratic Party in the upcoming Presidential Election?"

Me: "Actually, you can't, and you haven't counted on my support for a few years. I'm voting McCain."

Caller: "Well sir, I'm sorry to hear that. What has made you change your mind about Senator Obama and the party?"

Me: "Actually, I haven't changed my mind recently. I did not vote for Kerry in the last election. I don't think Obama is the best person for the job, so I'm not voting for him in this election. I am a registered Republican; I think you have the wrong household."

Caller: "Well sir, what issues specifically have caused you to change your vote this election..."

And so on, and so on. Very annoying. Sometimes I stay on the line and continue the conversation because it's borderline amusing.
