you really need to determine if you would be able to swing the cost of sorority membership. realize that your first semester as a new member will be the costliest-you will have several one time fees such as new member fee, initiation fee, fee to purchase a badge. you will have to be current on all your payments in order to be initiated. if you are unable to pay your bill, you may ultimately end up being financially expelled.

the best thing for you to do would be to stop by the greek life office and see if they have financial information on the sororities that you could have. then you could take that information home, share it with your parents and see what they say.
