It's still a year away, but I already know...

I'm getting LASIK surgery so I never have to wear contacts or glasses again! I will wake up the morning and be able to SEE!
YAY!

Ok, I know that's nowhere near as exciting as a rail trip, but I'm easy to please

And for someone who has worn glasses/contacts since the 1st grade, it's pretty damn thrilling
