Top 5 Movies:
1. Imitation of Life~ I saw that in 8th grade and I still remember it. It was a Powerful Movie.
2. Cooley High ~ I remember boo hoo-ing at the end at 4am.
3. Coming to America ~ A classic.
4. Boyz in the Hood ~ I still cry when Ricky dies.
5. Higher Learning ~ This movie just really stuck with me when it first came out. But now that I am in college I can somewhat relate.
Honorable Mention: New Jack City and School Daze
Top 5 TV movies:
1.The Josephine Baker Story ~ I just thought she was a really brave woman and she was a from STL.
2.The Jacksons: An American Dream ~ I remember when I was 12 I tried to tape that movie over a vacation but didn't work. I will still sit those 5 hours and watch this movie.
3.Miss Evers' Boys ~ It shows how corrupt America was/is.
4.The Temptations ~ David Ruffin cracks me up.
5.Introducing Dorothy Dandridge ~ I just think Halle Berry performed very well in this movie. It was interesting.
Honorable Mention : Roots ~ I have never seen the whole thing.
The Women of Brewsters Place: Its a good movie, but damn depressing.
