Report them to whom? Their nationals. If your thinking the school administration cares, they don't.

Rose-Hulman isn't a dry campus. The president attends fraternity parties.

You have to understand the atmosphere of the campus. It's a very small, private engineering college that was male-only until 1995. And many of the administrators are alumni who were fraternity men and who give a lot of money to the college. As long as they don't seriously injure or kill anyone, the students get away with almost anything. That's just how that school is. My husband went to Rose and tells me stories of things they used to do (he was an ATO, their house was right next door to Triangle). Some of the isht they got away with was unbelievable. As long as they continue to be a private school and stay as prestigious as they are in regards to engineering, administration is not going to do much to the students.

This is much like Wabash College, an all male school, that is about 85% greek. Their only rule is to act gentlemanly in any situation. There are no other rules. For the most part the administration looks the other way and so does the city of Crawfordsville. The stories I could tell about some of my trips to Wabash (including being with guys who are drinking out of beer bottles in the LIBRARY!) would shock some of you. Many small private campuses get away with a lot more because their alums continue to pump money into the school and protect them from anything happening. One of the fraternities served alcoholic punch with their scholarship dinner at Wabash. Things like this probably wouldn't happen at larger private schools, and certainly not at state colleges.

Well, if it is condoned by the School, and no name was mentioned then what is the problem?
If The USA would become more like the Euro., Canadians, Aussies, then drinking would not be a Taboo by Law but accepted to be part of the Land.
Of course England had Pub hours so people could sober up and then come back.
Drinking is not bad, drinking to access is bad. That is why so many Chapters get into trouble=Risk Managment!

ah well, i have friends that go to stanford and ivy league schools, they are so super uptight and proper...so i am suprised that this private school is like that but i shouldnt be, there is another private school which i dont want to name, its more for social and they will accept anyone as long as you can afford to pay tution and live there which is expensive. It seems like everyone I talk to from that univ does pot, gets drunk, parties and barely studies, so i can kind of understand at ROSE but the difference is that those students was NOT greek.

Okay, Rose-Hulman does not let just anyone in. There is a difference between schools who feel they have a reputation to maintain and therefore are uptight, and Rose-Hulman which has the majority of the population from the Midwest where we just don't understand the reason for uptight.

We had a Beer machine in our house, used an old coke machine, pledges where required to keep machine stocked, we had Bud, Busch, Coors, Coors Light and Buckhorn(yuck).
Beers sold for 65 cents.
Ah the good old days.

Hmm.... sounds like a typical party in my neck of the woods!
Now people doing Coke or E, surprising to see but not uncommon.
I think if these boys haven't had any problems before, then it's none of our business. Our opinions are moo.

Beer Vending Machine! I predict that this miraculous machine will take over the world (Much like in the Terminator movies), except instead of world domination, the beer machine's goals will be world intoxication! Does anyone have change for a dollar?
