They forced us to watch those shows (DJH) in health class when I was little. I definitely preferred its hipper twin, "Saved by the Bell."

I saw the guy who played BLT in the original series on Girlfriends on Monday night - he was the guy hawking fake Louis Vuitton on the street.

It's the new class of Degrassi, to promote the new episodes starting in June. They've been promoting it since like January, and I thought the new episodes were supposed to start in April.

They should do a marathon of the older shows. I'd watch that.

Cool For you DJH and DH-philes,

I found this website that sells VHS of both DJH and DH

http://shoppervalues.com/movies

On the left side, there is a quick search option. You'll have to type in Degrassi Jr High and Degrassi High. They sell them by episode.

Also, I found this site character guide for TNG from the old characters

There isn't actually a school on De Grassi street anymore, i think it got closed in the last budget crisis, but there still is a De Grassi street in the east end of Toronto.

The school where they filmed Degrassi high still stands.

It's now part of Centennial College. It's the Bell Centre for Creative Communications.

It's not my fave but it's important. The ep where Paige is raped. I cry every time I see it. But I'm so glad she stood up to him.

I'm watching this ep now. Lauren Collins (Paige) played the heck out of this part. Yes,I'm boo-hooing all over the place

YAY!! New season starts tomorrow.

I never watched DJH or D. The look of the show turned me off. However, I love the new one.

My favs: The rape episode was really well done, the one with Liberty and the teacher (message:rumors are bad!), and the one where Hazel pretended to be Jamaican.
