I was speaking with my sister, we were discussing the BET fiasco. So I asked her about the flooding situation over in Houston. I asked her if DC had donated money or was going to do a benefit to raise money for the flood victims. Mind you, many have not returned to work, many families have lost EVERYTHING, cars, all of that.

So, anyhoo, she informs me that the DC clan, gave a whopping, drum roll please....
5,000 dollars. I was like, THAT'S IT! Out of ALL of the money they have made, that's ALL they have donated?

I mean come on, you grew up in these areas. Mainly, the areas flooded in H-town are those areas where the blacks and hispanic live.

I would really expect to hear that they are gonna headline a benefit concert or something!

well, I guess that's to be expected...It may even be cost-effective...

I mean even if they DID do a benefit concert, there'd only be about 5-grand left, after they bought materials for weaves, wigs, make-up, HOchie-gear, and paid all of their cousins, sisters, aunties, uncles, etc...

New DC news...I was at the Hot 97 Summer Jam in NY, and man did the crowd eat them alive. As soon as they were announced, it started. Then they didn't stop booing during the performance and were even louder at every break. Beyonce was truly pissed, but at the same time was basically telling the audience to kiss her a**. Oh it was classic.
