Retreat Locations...HELP!

You guys, I NEED HELP!!!

I'm from Ohio, and a lot of the girls in our chapter are from the Cleveland area. Problem is...I can't find any cabins that can accomodate around 25 girls. Any ideas for a place I can go?

My family just had a huge thing at Maumee Bay state park. We were in the lodge but I know they also have cabins. You might trying emailing your girls to see if any of them have friends or relatives with cabins, it's much cheaper that way.

You can see if anyone's parents or relatives have a timeshare somewhere. That can help cut down the cost of food, etc. is someone's relatives wouldn't mind some company for the weekend or so.

All of the State Parks in Ohio have great cabins that house a varying number of people but they book far in advance (like a year... and preference will go to folks staying for a week). Check them out for last minute cancellations though. I am assuming you are trying, very last minute, to find somewhere for a chapter or exec retreat prior to returning to campus. Thre are a variety of church camps in eastern ohio-- I know of a lutheran and a congregational camp between Mansfield and Cleveland. Whether they would have facilities that you could use is another question... it would depend how late in August they run their regular summer sessions. Have your members ask their pastors.... You could also try asking the local alum club if anyone has a cabin that you could use... most likely, it'll be cozy. If you don't mind being truly sisterly, you could pitch tents.

My chapter is doing a camping trip for our retreat.. It seems pretty cool, we have tents and all. Plus it is alot cheaper!
