Angry How Much Does the Gasoline in your city cost?

I passed by a convenience store, NOT Exxon, Shell, or Texaco and the prices were:

Unleaded: $1.53
Unleaded Plus: $1.63
Premium: $1.73

I haven't had a chance to fill my car yet.

I'm here in Richmond, Virginia and I've noticed that the gasoline prices have been as high as $1.49. Now that may not be high for some in other areas, but it's high for ME. I'm from the South and I've been driving for something like going on 15 years. I remember when gas was like $.99...does anyone else remember THAT? Yeah, those were the good ole' days. But NOW, it takes almost $23.00 for me to fill my tank. As a matter of fact, they're talking about gas prices right now on the news.

LOL@ gas at 99 cents per gallon. Often times, you could find it lower than that. 99 cents per gallon was a lot (back then) I remember that well. I was in high school joy riding. LOL Shucks, I could fill up with $10.00.

It was when Desert Storm was going and I was in college that the prices increased. They haven't really been down since then.

$1.53 yesterday for my weekly fill up!!

Back when I first got Scarlet Dec. 98 -- gas was 99 cents in Ohio. Oh how I long for those days. Before I got her in 98, gas was 92 cents a gallon.

LOL @ the name "Scarlet".... Soror CT4, I'm laughing because I thought that I was one of the only FEW people left who actually gave a NAME to my car. My husband drives a dark green Toyota Tacoma pickup and I named it... "The NINJA" (after the Teen-aged Mutant Ninja Turtles). Girl, I also named MY car..."SNOW WHITE".

You guys PLEASE go on the Delta forum and peep the new post that I started...it's kinda related to this topic and a good on, I think.

Angry Why come high gaise prices?

Out here in Lower California, 87 is going in the $1.65 a gallon range and higher. Because I've not got my 60K service (and this is on a 2000 model car! ), I'm having to use 89. So I'm paying $1.75 a gallon and up.

Angry

I had to use my change in the cup holder:
1.75 regular
1.85 super
1.95 premium

Those prices only reflect the suburbs of Chicago...I'll pay the 25 cents to put air in my bike tires to get where I need to go

I'm sorry Madame Moderator. I guess that I should have looked a little harder, right?
