And there is this QFP as well:

If I drop out of my sorority, will I be able to pledge a completely different sorority at the different university that I attend when I am a sophomore at my new school?
Also, If I do drop out of my sorority, how exactly do I go about that?

KD- you were given great advice in the other thread, however this thread leaves a lot more "ifs" and "hopes" to the story.
I would really think long and hard before you depledge. While no university had "almost 3000 girls rush" there is one that had over 2000. If that is where you are located, and you wind up NOT transferring, your chances for a do-over rush there next year will likely not go in your favor.
The grass always seems greener elsewhere. You may already be in an optimal situation. Think carefully about any and all decisions.
