Lost my Phi Mu badge! Can you help?

Hi all, I am an alumnae from the EB chapter of Phi Mu (sadly no longer an active chapter). I've lost my badge in my move to my house. ::cries:: Do any of you know someone who is trying to sell theirs or wants to get rid of one? I've spoken to Nationals and to replace new is more than I can afford right now, so I thought I'd try here.... Thanks.

Does your National HQ sell refurbished badges? I know many NPC groups do - returned badges, deceased members' badges, e-bay saves are refurbished and then sold to members. It's how I replaced my badge when it was stolen - significantly less than new.

Not long ago, I purchased a ruby/pearl Phi Mu badge on eBay, at a fraction of the cost, for a friend who had lost hers. The seller was a young alumna who had no desire to keep her badge. It's beautiful and my friend loves it!

Yes, I checked ebay girls. Not much there and what is there, is like craaazzy expensive compared to even the new price. Good idea on checking with Nationals about older badges. I'll give them a call.

I'm currently bidding on that. Still 6 days left. I tried bidding on one just like that a week or so ago and it went for over 200! I am not too hopeful with ebay auctions. I can never keep up Sadly the one I lost was pearl/ruby alternating. I wish it were plain like the one I'm bidding on so I might be freaking less. haha
