Just spent 3 hours with AGDAlum, eating and sharing AGD stories about sisterhood. She's in town for the American Library Association (or something like that, lol). Then, I took her by the Gamma Phi House at Tech. There were actually sisters there so we got a great look at the house...of course, it's old hat to me, lol.
Anyway, it's wonderful to be able to quickly relate to someone you just met but share a strong bond with.
We came up with some great increasing alumnae support ideas that we think IHQ should implement,

.
She's in town for a few days until she heads to visit GC's Carnation.
One thing we found is really important...no matter where you are and what you are doing, how do people know you're an Alpha Gam (except for wearing the letters, of course)? By wearing your badge, AGD jewelry or JUST TELLING THEM,
Hopefully we can meet again at Convention 2004 if not sooner!
AGD - Surrounded by Sisterhood!!!
