Crashing...every time I see this user name, I think Lambda Theta Alpha.

What is a reaffiliation ceremony? Alumnae members are still members. Don't you think the Founders Day ritual should be enough?

I thought she was referring to a reaffirmation event.

You'll probably get more appropriate answers if you put this question under your sororities posting area. DPhiE has it's own Forum. Try asking there. If there are any ceremonies like you are thinking of, the members of DPhiE on GC would know. Good luck.

Not every group has a complex/official/written/nationally mandated Founders Day ritual. (I have no idea if D Phi E does or not, just saying it shouldn't be assumed that every group does because your group does.)

When I read this, I thought of DST's rededication ceremonies. I won't get into the specifics of rededication ceremonies.
Take AOII Angel's suggestion. Why are you posting this to nonmembers? Actually, why do you need to come to GC to discuss this? Do you not know members of your GLO in real life?

Again, outside of their chapter, no, not everyone does. Internet or no, some chapters are still kind of isolated, and contact with national volunteers/advisors can vary greatly from instance to instance.

That explanation (or excuse, depending) doesn't work anymore. 99% of Greeks don't stumble upon Greekchat without knowing that they could as easily stumble upon contact information for another chapter, local representatives, or national headquarters. Hell, I stumbled upon their national website with less effort than it took for me to logon to Greekchat.
Even going directly to the forum DPhiE (despite how we can still read it) would make more sense than making this a general topic that perhaps is best discussed among members.
