Rerushing advice!
Hey everyone,
So I attend an SEC school and I am currently a sophomore. Anyways, I rushed in the spring last year (my freshman year) and was offered bids from a few sororities after recruitment night, but I got cold feet so to speak, and felt pressured and rushed about the whole situation and politely declined. I just felt so unprepared and scared for the whole thing, which is why I decided not to accept a bid. Later on, I really regretted my decision and could have kicked myself for not accepting a bid.
Anyhow, I didn't participate in fall rush because I was away on an internship that I had already accepted before spring rush. So, here we are now with spring rush approaching and I am planning on going through recruitment again!
I just wanted to get some advice or anyones input on going through this process again. I feel quite awkward about the whole situation, but I really want to participate in greek life at my school and I feel ready for it. Will I be completely blacklisted because I went through rush once before and didn't accept a bid? Spring rush is way less formal and intensive than fall so i'm not sure if that factors in to anything. Should I bring up that I rushed before? If it gets brought up to me, would an explanation like I offered above suffice? AHH! Sorry about all the questions I just have a ton of worries :/
Thanks ladies!

Yeah, it happens only in the spring I believe (the multiple bids) since it is kind of a free-for-all and the sororities contact you.

Ok, seriously. Shut up. You're crossing the line from irrelevant to giving incorrect information. Your response does not even make sense in the context of the thread.
Stop acting like a 2 year old hyped up on gogurt begging someone to pay attention to you.

We can't tell you whether a chapter would cut you because you rushed before. They might, they might not. Every chapter is different.
If spring is a smaller environment with fewer PNMs, there's a good chance that girls may remember you from last year. If asked, be honest but don't dwell on the fact that you rushed before.

Understandable, that you would not know what a chapter would do Just wanted to see if anybody had some advice about rerushing (i.e. they went through it before, knew somebody ,heard about it ,etc. ha)
Thanks KSUViolet06! The environment is smaller but still "large" (about 300-400 girls!)

Giving incorrect advice is the problem.

Please clarify, in detail.

I don't understand why DroleFile yelled at me because 1. It wasn't advice and 2. Some places PNMs do get multiple bids. I didn't expect such a harsh reaction
I don't want to derail this thread. Back on topic...
EDIT: I didn't notice you bolded that stuff. I don't like revealing info that can give my location because of the Pot thread but I received multiple bids when I went through informal rush at my school

You are being asked to clarify your statements re: receiving multiple bids, and being a rho gam. DF didn't yell at you. I haven't yelled at you. Yet.
