Newbie Here :)

Hi everyone! I'm getting excited for formal recruitment at my school in NJ for next semester. I've learned so much from perusing these forums, and I was wondering if anyone else had some advice for me! My school is small, with only four sororities (Sigma Delta Tau, Sigma Sigma Sigma, Theta Phi Alpha, and Delta Phi Epsilon) and a fifth colonizing Spring 2011 (Alpha Omicron Pi). I'm interested in all each of them at this point, particularly the new colony. It seems like being a founding sister would be a really great experience! A few members have PM'ed me with some great info, I was just wondering if anyone had anything else to share about what I can expect, some helpful tips? Thank you so much!

how great that you have the opportunity to visit with established chapters and have a chance to learn about the possibilities of being part of a colony. both opportunities offer great things. just meet each group with an open mind and form your own opinions(don't listen to "tent talk").

good luck and please come back and let us know how everything went!

Good luck with recruitment and just try to read as much as you can from these boards. It's a total gold mine.
